Michelle Naguit Hileman, MS, CCC-SLP
Michelle moved to the Napa Valley in 2003 and began her career in pediatric speech-language pathology with the Napa County Office of Education. She opened Napa Valley Speech Therapy, Inc. in 2008 after being inspired by the incredible need for private practitioners to support the development of children in the community. Her experience includes K-8 public school settings, home- and center-based early intervention services, and preschool inclusion sites. Michelle received a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology from University of California, San Diego and a Master of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from San Francisco State University. Rocio Soto, MS, CCC-SLP
Rocio first joined Napa Valley Speech Therapy, Inc. in 2015 as a speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA). She had previously been a behavior assistant providing home- and school-based supports to children with autism spectrum disorder. In 2019, Rocio graduated from the University of Redlands with a Master of Science degree and a Specialty Certificate in Bilingual Speech-Language Pathology: Spanish Language Focus. In her role with us as a SLPA and subsequently as a Clinical Fellow (CF), Rocio provided bilingual (Spanish/English) services in both the home and clinic settings. She now has full SLP status and works with us on a part-time, seasonal basis, as she also works full-time with the Napa Valley Unified School District providing services to school-aged children. Rocio is licensed through the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. |
